rrrrip9 is jaym graaman, a sound artist & electronic producer in amsterdam. dark, esoteric electronics, close to the air. the dancefloor as sacred space. he makes and performs the audio for s3x, leads the curation and the brand work, and, like cyberbirdxx, also does graphic design, web and concept.

he takes trap and techno apart and rebuilds it into sets that move people from the overload of being always online toward calm, awareness and flow. each piece starts overloaded and falls apart into space; the sound isn't background, it's the structure. an attempt to leave cyberspace.

the club as a place built outside the machine: he runs undisclosed, a club and art night, twenty-two editions (i–xxii) across the netherlands, five years, home base HAL25 in alkmaar. he also runs 9by333, his design studio: sound design, graphic design, websites and brand.
